CO₂ Shielded Arc Welding
CO₂ Shielded Arc Welding uses carbon dioxide as the shielding gas to protect the weld area. The process produces welds with low hydrogen and nitrogen content and is commonly used for welding medium to large sheet metal and pipe components. This offers high productivity and deep weld penetration, making it suitable for welding thicker steel sections. It is commonly used for carbon steel materials such as ASTM A36, EN S235JR (1.0038), and JIS SS400.
We usually weld components with wall thicknesses of 2mm and above, part weights ranging from 2kg to 300 kg, and dimensions up to 2.5 m.

Characteristics
- High Production Efficiency
Continuous wire feeding eliminates frequent electrode replacements, delivering high deposition rates and making the process ideal for automatic and robotic welding in high-volume production. - Deep Penetration and High Weld Strength
Deep weld penetration makes the process well suited for thick-section materials while providing strong, reliable weld joints. - Cost-Effective
The low cost of carbon dioxide shielding gas helps reduce overall welding costs compared with TIG welding.
